My name is Lizzy Rushby and I would be delighted to help you to learn to sing. I provide professional singing lessons here in Leicester.
I help students from beginners upwards to develop their singing ability. I have many years of teaching experience, having helped students of all ages to achieve things they never thought possible with their voice.

Improving your singing ability & growing your vocal confidence has never been so easy.
I teach students to sing through learning the songs that they love. Drawing on music from artist and bands across a wide range of genres, from pop to rock & gospel to acoustic.
I welcome students of all ages, including young learners and adults. Beginners, intermediate and advanced singers catered for.
Lessons can be taken weekly, fortnightly or whenever suits you.

I combine the songs that you choose to learn with a wide range of exercises to help improve your vocal ability. During lessons, we will work at improving your:
Giving your singing control and power
Develop consistent vocals, hitting the right notes with the correct technique to give you power and control when singing. This will build your confidence as learn to control your singing.
Hit the high notes without straining
Expand your vocal range, enabling you to sing the high notes without straining or damaging your voice and adding texture and style to your low notes.
Unlock your own unique vocal sound
Blend the sounds of your favourite artists to create your own unique vocals, giving you a balanced and distinct vocal sound.
Anyone can learn to sing with the right coaching. It is not a skill that someone is born with, but instead developed over time through learning and practising the right techniques.

My lesson prices are £18 for 30 minutes, £24 for 40 minutes and £30 for 60 minutes.
Lessons take place at my home teaching space based on Clarendon Park Road, Leicester. My full teaching address will be provided upon your first lesson booking.
I teach all ages of students, including young learners and adults. You are never too young or old to start to learn to sing so come for a lesson and give it a try!
Yes, almost all my lessons are 1-2-1. This enables me to tailor each lesson to the individual needs and requirements of a student. I offer a sibling or friend discount if sharing the same session. If you are interested in doing a small group lesson with a friend we can also explore this too, just get in touch to discuss.
The majority of my students attend lessons either weekly or fortnightly. I would recommend committing to fairly regular lessons, at least once per month, to ensure that you progress at a speed that you can be proud of.
